The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, are reportedly riding out the coronavirus pandemic in California after leaving Canada.
The couple reportedly decided to start the next chapter of their lives in California as their original plan of settling in Canada did not manage to materialise. The couple have now chosen to settle in California near Hollywood.
The location seems perfect as well as the timing seeing as Meghan Markle is stepping back into the world of showbiz having already landed the narrating role with Disney in their new documentary Elephant, which premiers on their streaming platform Disney Plus on Friday 3 April.
This gig with Disney marks the couples first step towards financial freedom as they relinquish their senior royal duties and the benefits that come with it on March 31.
Going by what the sources close to the couple the Sun, it may be safe to assume that this is only the beginning of her return to showbiz as she said:
“Harry and Meghan have left Canada now for good”
“They have a big support network there. It’s where their new team of Hollywood agents and PRs and business managers are based.
“Meghan has lots of friends there and, of course, her mum Doria.”
