The couple reportedly decided to start the next chapter of their lives in California as their original plan of settling in Canada did not manage to materialise. The couple have now chosen to settle in California near Hollywood.

The location seems perfect as well as the timing seeing as Meghan Markle is stepping back into the world of showbiz having already landed the narrating role with Disney in their new documentary Elephant, which premiers on their streaming platform Disney Plus on Friday 3 April.
This gig with Disney marks the couples first step towards financial freedom as they relinquish their senior royal duties and the benefits that come with it on March 31.
