Attempting to maintain his grip on power, the trembling tyrant declared that his troops had successfully averted a civil war, despite the undeniable upheaval caused by the Wagner Group’s coup attempt.
Putin dismissed the notion that the rebel mercenaries had garnered popular support, dismissing photographic evidence of cheering crowds in Rostov as misleading.
As tensions persist between the Kremlin and Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin, Putin’s address sought to assert control over the situation.

Russian officials have indicated that Prigozhin is permitted to leave the country and seek exile in Belarus.
However, in a fiery statement last night, the warlord once again launched an attack on Russia’s leadership, particularly concerning their handling of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
