She further stated her desire to demonstrate to her children that age or role should never hinder the pursuit of dreams

However, Wozniacki emphasized that she still has unfulfilled ambitions and, as a family, they have decided that it is time for her to return to professional tennis, eagerly anticipating her comeback.

In June 2021, Wozniacki announced the birth of her daughter, Olivia, followed by the birth of her son, James, in 2022.

She further stated her desire to demonstrate to her children that age or role should never hinder the pursuit of dreams.

During her initial career phase, Wozniacki secured an impressive 30 tour-level titles, including a remarkable Grand Slam victory over Simona Halep in a thrilling three-set match at the 2018 Australian Open final.

While her performances at Wimbledon saw her reach the last 16 on six occasions, she, unfortunately, faced defeat at that stage each time.
