Members of the Royal Family gathered at Windsor Castle on Monday for Garter Day 2026, one of the most significant events in the royal calendar.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla led the celebrations, accompanied by senior members of the monarchy, including the Princess of Wales, Prince William, the Duke of Edinburgh, Princess Anne, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
The annual occasion saw the Knights of the Order of the Garter participate in the traditional procession through the grounds of Windsor Castle, dressed in their distinctive velvet robes and feathered hats before attending a service at St George’s Chapel.

Ahead of the service, King Charles was joined by Queen Camilla, the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester at a luncheon marking the historic event.
Earlier in the day, the King invested three new Companions with the Order’s Insignia during a ceremony held in the Throne Room at Windsor Castle.
Following the investiture, the newly appointed Companions took part in the grand procession alongside existing members of the Order. The ceremonial parade was accompanied by a marching band and Officers of the Order as they made their way to St George’s Chapel.
