Apple is reportedly gearing up to launch a new iPhone SE next week, marking the first update to its budget-friendly lineup since 2022.

According to Bloomberg, the announcement could come in just a few days, with sales expected to begin later this month.

Leaked footage from Twitter user “Majin Bu” suggests a major design shift—Apple may be ditching the iconic home button, a hallmark of earlier models.

Upgraded Features, Higher Price?

The upcoming iPhone SE is also expected to include a USB-C port to comply with European Union regulations, forcing Apple to stop selling the 2022 SE and iPhone 14 in the region.

Additionally, Bloomberg reports that this will be Apple’s first device powered by its in-house cellular modem, replacing Qualcomm chips.

Other rumoured upgrades include Face ID, Apple Intelligence capabilities, and the powerful A18 processor. However, Apple is unlikely to hold a big launch event—expect it to appear on the company’s website quietly.

The 2022 iPhone SE debuted at $429, but with these modern upgrades, a price increase seems likely. Stay tuned for the official announcement in the coming days.
