As The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring marks its 25th anniversary, fans are being offered the chance to journey back to Middle-earth on the big screen.
Fathom Entertainment and Warner Bros. have announced that Peter Jackson’s acclaimed trilogy will return to cinemas in their full extended editions, as reported exclusively by Variety.

The Lord of the Rings: Immersive DBOX Showings Launch in January
From 16–19 January, audiences can watch the trilogy in DBOX, a format that adds movement and vibration to match the onscreen action — perfect for those who want to feel as if they’re travelling with Frodo and the Fellowship on their perilous trek to Mordor.

For moviegoers who prefer a more classic experience, standard-format showings will follow shortly after, running from 23–25 January.
Exclusive Collector Items for Cinema Fans
Cinema chains are releasing limited-edition concession items to mark the occasion. AMC locations will offer themed popcorn buckets decorated with maps of Middle-earth, while Regal and selected local cinemas will feature designs inspired by the One Ring.
