Mr Johnson Makes Case For Union As Sturgeon Accuse Him Of Politicising Pandemic

After Mr Johnson implied that Scotland's coronavirus response benefited largely from being a part of the UK, but Nicola Sturgeon accused him of politicising the coronavirus pandemic

The UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson spoke about the merits of the union while neglecting rising calls for Scottish independence on a visit to Scotland on Thursday.

After Mr Johnson implied that Scotland’s coronavirus response benefited largely from being a part of the UK, but Nicola Sturgeon accused him of politicising the coronavirus pandemic while adding that leaders should not use the crisis as “some kind of political campaigning tool”.

Ms Sturgeon has always defended her quest for an independent Scotland as she tweeted earlier Thursday that the country’s future is currently being “decided by politicians we didn’t vote for, taking us down a path we haven’t chosen”.
