The U.S. President Donald Trump who’s obviously not in a friendly mood due to the growing cases of COVID_19 across the United States has stated clearly that the U.S. will not pay for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s security bills now they are living in California.
SurgeZirc UK had early reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had jetted to California for a reason some people with “controversial intent” say was to avoid paying double tax (Canada and the U.S.) since they’ll be working with Disney.
After learning that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are meant to stay in the U.S. permanently, Trump who’s very active on social media took to Twitter to state that the British royals must pay for their own security.
He said: “I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom.
“It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada.
“Now they have left Canada for the US. However, the US will not pay for their security protection.
“They must pay!”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s security affair has been largely debated upon since the couple left the UK.
Meanwhile, the Canadian government announced at the beginning of March 2020 that it would stop supporting the security of the royals.
It has been confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex who looks to end their role as senior members of the British royal family by end of March are currently living in Hollywood with their son Archie.
Following the intensity of the coronavirus pandemic in the United States, they are also in lockdown to avoid contracting the virus.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s move to the U.S. comes as the Duchess of Sussex announced her first post-royal role. Released on April 3, Meghan has narrated a documentary called Elephant for Dinsey+.
While Prince Harry also recorded a charity single with Jon Bon Jovi and Invictus Games Choir has also been released. All of these follows a calculated move by the couple to become more financially independent.
After March 31, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will no longer be addressed officially as His/Her Royal Highness.
They will also be barred from using the royal title “Sussex” as their brand. Although all of these restrictions will be reviewed after one year.
