Tom Cruise posted a short clip on social media where he can be seen touring London with his final destination being a cinema to watch the new film ‘Tenet’.

The actor wore a protective face mask due to the ongoing Covid-19 global pandemic, but that still did not stop him from being recognised.

Travelling around London on Tuesday in a black cab with ‘Mission: Impossible’ director Christopher McQuarrie, the video starts with them going through the area and past Buckingham Palace where a group of fans on bicycles realise it’s Tom Cruise.

Tom reacts to the camera: “How does that happen? I’m wearing a mask!”

The actor then pulls up to a cinema, where he poses in front of the ‘Tenet’ film poster, he then says: “Here we are… back to the movies!”

The video carries on by showing a busy cinema for the special screening of Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’. After watching the film, an applauding Tom stands up and says: “Great to be back in a movie theatre everybody. I loved it!”

The actor captioned the short clip he shared on social media with: “Big movie. Big screen. Loved it.”

Tom has recently resumed filming on ‘Mission Impossible 7 and 8′ at the Warner Bros Studios, Leavesden, in Hertfordshire.

The British government allowed production to start back up due to the revenue these productions create, so filmmakers were made exempt from certain quarantine rules.

The government will have guidelines that allow ‘small numbers’ of essential cast and crew to travel to the UK without having to go under 14 days of quarantine.

These exempted people, like Tom Cruise, would then have to work and live in controlled ‘bubbled’ environments, such as their filming locations, for the same period.

The entertainment industry has taken a huge blow due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so it’s good to see that plans are being made to ensure that productions can still go on while ensuring everyone’s safety.

I don’t understand how people recognise someone else in a mask, I still get greeted by people who know me and in my head I’m like ‘but who are you’👀
