The ongoing conflict involving Iran has resulted in a mounting death toll across the Middle East, with figures continuing to rise in several affected regions.
Iranian authorities report that more than 1,900 people have been killed since the fighting began. However, alternative estimates suggest the true number could be significantly higher.
A US-based monitoring organisation, the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), says it has verified at least 3,486 deaths linked to the conflict, offering a more detailed breakdown of casualties.
Iran Death Toll Figures And Civilian Impact
According to HRANA, the confirmed fatalities include at least 1,568 civilians, among them at least 236 children. The organisation also reports that 1,211 members of the military have been killed, alongside 707 deaths that remain unclassified.
HRANA’s figures have proven broadly accurate in previous conflicts in Iran, lending weight to its current assessment of the situation.
Israel Casualties And Southern Lebanon Clashes
In Israel, officials report that 19 people have been killed so far. Separately, six deaths have been recorded in ongoing hostilities between Israeli forces and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
The clashes form part of a broader escalation along Israel’s northern border, where tensions have intensified in recent weeks.
Lebanon Death Toll And Regional Displacement Crisis
Lebanon has experienced significant losses, with more than 1,200 people reported killed. The conflict has also triggered a major humanitarian crisis, displacing over one million people across the country.
