Netflix has surprised us by already having filmed ‘The Kissing Booth 3’ with the release date being in 2021. This is good news for the romantic comedy fans as there’s much more kissing and drama to come.
‘The Kissing Booth 2’ was just released by Netflix on July 24th but that has not stopped them from already releasing a sneak peek of what’s to come in the third movie.
For those who are fans of ‘The Kissing Booth’ and have not watched the second movie yet, this is a bit of a spoiler, but the second movie ends with Elle, played by Joey King, learning that she has been accepted to both Berkeley and Havard.
This is a major decision for her as Elle has to choose between attending the college with her best friend Lee, played by Joel Courtney or the one with her long-distance boyfriend Noah, played by Jacob Elordi, but the movie ends before she makes her decision on which college to attend.
Joey King, who is also an executive producer on ‘Kissing Booth 2’ and ‘3’, took to Instagram to announce the third movie being released. The short video post shows Joel Courtney sharing the news of ‘The Kissing Booth 3’ movie via text message to the rest of the main cast.
Joey captioned the announcement of ‘The Kissing Booth 3’ reveal: “I couldn’t be happier!!!! Should Elle go to Berkeley or Harvard????????” –
This shows us who’s returning for the third movie, which includes Marco, played by Taylor Zakhar Perez, who could be a potential love interest for Elle. As well as Chloe, played by Maisie Richardson-Sellers, amongst others, from there the word gets out to everyone.
‘The Kissing Booth’ social accounts shared a sneak peek clip for the movie, which shows Elle and Lee with their significant others, Noah, and Rachel, who is played by Meganne Young, all hanging out poolside. Elle ignores an incoming call from the “Harvard Admissions office” and decides to go off with Noah, who’s going to “read me poetry,” as she lightly puts it. –
So keep your eyes peeled for the romantic comedy of ‘The Kissing Booth 3’ in 2021.
