The 20th BET Awards will not be stopped by the global pandemic and is due to take place on June 28th, 2020. Chloe x Halle, Beyoncé, John Legend, and many others will be part of the show.
The ceremony celebrates Black achievements in entertainment and honors music, sports, television, and movies. It will be held ‘virtually’ this year due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The BET Awards are very well known for their live performances, but this year they will have to work around the fact they can not perform on a live stage. Amanda Seales will be hosting this year’s array of talented artists.

BET Amplified Artists, Masego, and Lonr. will perform on the BET Amplified Stage, which will be exciting to see how that may look like in this COVID-environment.
Lil Wayne will be performing a tribute to late Lakers star Kobe Bryant, while comedian/singer Wayne Brady will honor the king of rock n’ roll, Little Richard.
