PM’s Pregnant Fiance Carrie Symonds Showing Symptoms Of COVID-19

"I haven't needed to be tested and, after seven days of rest, I feel stronger and I'm on the mend"

The fiance of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is showing symptoms of COVID-19. Carrie Symonds who is currently pregnant has yet to be tested for the coronavirus.

The 32-year-old posted on Twitter that she had been in bed this past week after developing COVID-19 symptoms, going on to write:

“I’ve spent the past week in bed with the main symptoms of Coronavirus,”

“I haven’t needed to be tested and, after seven days of rest, I feel stronger and I’m on the mend” Carrie Symonds said on her Twitter page.

“Being pregnant with COVID-19 is obviously worrying. To other pregnant women, please do read and follow the most up to date guidance which I found to be v [sic] reassuring.”

The Prime Minister himself is currently under self-isolation after testing positive for the coronavirus.

Carrie Symonds is reported to have left Downing Street over a week ago and is currently at her flat in Camberwell.

The UK is still currently under lockdown as deaths COVID-19 spiked to a record high of 708 people so far. Currently, 41,903 people have tested positive for the coronavirus.

Boris Johnson is still urging the public to stay indoors and to practise social distancing should they have to leave their homes.
