Jet’s Landing Gear Failure Led to Vince Neil’s PlaneDisaster
Reports indicate that Neil’s Learjet was arriving from Austin, Texas when one of its landing gear sets failed upon touchdown. The malfunction caused the jet to veer off the runway, ultimately crashing into a parked Gulfstream 200 business jet.
Neil’s lawyer said the singer is “grateful for the critical aid of all first responders assisting today.”
Motley Crue, one of the biggest rock bands of the 1980s, has sold over 100 million records. Neil fronted the band from 1981 until his departure in 1992, reuniting with them in 1996. He continues to lead the band following their 2018 reunion.
