It’s interesting to note that the iconic band’s track ‘Scarlet’ was written in 1974 with Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page and has not been previously released.
The official 30-second trailer that was released on The Rolling Stones official YouTube channel shows Paul sitting and trying to play the song from a laptop in a white shirt and an untied bow tie, then bobbing his head when the track starts to play.
Though The Rolling Stones shared a different clip on social media that has Paul in an unbuttoned white shirt and white vest, kneeling down towards the camera and sloppily saying: “I think we’ll be fine”, then sipping on a glass of what appears to be scotch as the track plays for a few seconds.
The post is captioned: “The official video for Scarlet featuring Paul Mescal will premiere this Thursday 7pm BST / 11am PST on the Rolling Stones YouTube Channel. Including a very special introduction from Mick Jagger (@mickjagger) & Paul Mescal (@mescal_paul) you won’t want to miss… set a reminder here…” –
