Greta Gerwig, nominated for her adapted screenplay for “Little Women,” has been dependable this awards season, but Sunday evening she left us scratching our head in her simple olive-colored gown by Dior Haute Couture.

Oscars 2020: The adjective of the night was loud. Bold colours and voluminous gowns ruled the various awards red carpets this year, along with shimmering fabrics and an abundance of bling, courtesy of some of the marquee names in the jewellery game dominated the 92nd Academy Awards.

Some people pulled it off spectacularly. Others… not so much. Here is the list of the most awful dressed at the Oscars:

There are unusual silhouettes, and then there’s this. This Kristen Wiig’s dress has been compared to on social media: lasagna, cuttlefish and toilet brushes. Those all seem about right.
