Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has disclosed what she says was a stark response from President Donald Trump after she threatened to publicly name individuals connected to the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The revelation follows a closed-door meeting Greene held with survivors of Epstein’s sexual abuse.

The call reportedly took place before Greene joined a bipartisan effort pressing Trump’s Justice Department to release all files linked to Epstein.

In November, Trump criticised Greene on his social media platform and withdrew his endorsement of her. Greene later said a text she sent him about the Epstein documents “is what sent him over the edge.”

Greene’s View on the Epstein Files

Speaking to The New York Times, Greene said the Epstein files “represent everything wrong with Washington.”

“Rich, powerful elites doing horrible things and getting away with it. And the women are the victims,” she said.
