Lori Harvey is keen to clarify that she is not dating rapper Quavo, setting the record straight amidst recent speculation.
The 26-year-old model, currently in a relationship with Damson Idris, was seen leaving the Bungalows in West Hollywood at the same time as the former Migos member, 32. However, Harvey addressed the rumours in a comment on a viral TikTok video that discussed their alleged relationship.
In response to the post, shared by a user named Alexandria Danielle, which featured photos of the two leaving the venue separately, Harvey commented, “Lmao no, I was having lunch with my besties who are right behind me.” Her statement aimed to dispel any assumptions about her romantic involvement with Quavo.
Danielle later responded to Harvey’s comment, offering an apology and expressing admiration, “Lori!! I made a comment that this was fake news!! It’s all love, you are the moment 💛.”
Harvey received support from others who appreciated her straightforwardness in confronting the rumors. One person commented, “Yes, let them know sis,” while another added, “Clear it right on up.”
While Harvey has had public relationships in the past, including with Future and Michael B. Jordan, she prefers to let the internet form opinions about her love life, rarely giving interviews.
However, she did share a valuable piece of advice from her father, the renowned comedian Steve Harvey, who told her, “Just remember that you are the prize,” as her golden mantra.
During an interview with Bumble Presents Luv2SeeIt with Teyana Taylor, Harvey emphasized the importance of maintaining her values, standards, and requirements to feel empowered both within and outside of a relationship. She highlighted the significance of giving one’s love to the right person to avoid feeling drained.
The entrepreneur and Damson Idris confirmed their relationship in January, coinciding with Harvey’s birthday celebrations.
They were spotted on a date night in Los Angeles the previous month, and photos from Harvey’s 26th birthday included a snapshot of her smiling as Idris kissed her. Idris shared the photo on his Instagram Story, writing, “Happy Birthday Nunu,” accompanied by three white heart emojis.
Before her involvement with Idris, Harvey was romantically linked to Michael B. Jordan. However, in June 2022, after a year and a half of dating, the pair called it quits. According to a source, Harvey wasn’t ready for a committed relationship, realizing that they were not on the same page while making future plans.
Since confirming their relationship, Harvey and Idris have been spotted together on several occasions, including attending a Beyoncé concert in May 2023 and attending London’s Serpentine Summer Party last month.
