Gal Gadot will be starring in the sequel of Wonder Woman 1984 and shows off her new golden armor on social media for the DC Extended Universe film that has already been delayed three times.
Gal Gadot posted two cover images from the next issue of Total Film showing off her new armor which is known as her ‘Golden Eagle Armor’.
With the post, Gal Gadot says ” know I keep saying it, but I’m SO excited to share #WW84 with the world! For a sneak peek check out the latest issue of @totalfilm .” Gadot has been promoting the film for a very long time now as the sequel was meant to have originally released in November or December last year.
Wonder Woman 1984 was then pushed to June 5th as there were a few post-production concerns. Then the coronavirus pandemic came about and as theaters were shutdown worldwide, the film was pushed to a new release date being August 14th.
Then earlier this month the date for Wonder Woman 1984 was pushed again now to October 2nd, this was done in hopes that people would not be as fearful by then about being groups in cineplexes as well as in hopes that there is no major second wave of the coronavirus.
The role of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman was first shot in the 2017 film, which led to the success of more superhero films from DC, but Gadot says the new WW84 is her first solo superhero movie and it is different from anything else that she has ever done before. WW84 is the ninth installment in the DC Extended Universe.
DC Films has been entertaining us and is still doing so by not only bring back a sequel of Wonder Woman, but they are also working on a number of other projects. Such as Michael Keaton who is in talks to return as Batman in the upcoming Flash movie, which is said to be released June 3rd, 2022.
Fans of Wonder Woman have been waiting in anticipation for this new sequel superhero movie for what seems like ages and hopefully, with no further delays, they will get what they have been waiting for.
