Now they are officially parting ways following 22 years of marriage as the judge has signed off on the former couple’s divorce that Eve filed for in January 2018.

A family source confirmed to PEOPLE the two had separated in May 2017 amid news that Ewan McGregor was seen kissing actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Now Ewan must pay half of his royalties from the ‘Star Wars’ prequels to his ex-wife as part of their divorce settlement.

According to the divorce judgment, he will also have to share royalties and residuals from other projects he worked on during the marriage which includes movies like ‘Angels & Demons’, ‘The Men Who Stare at Goats’ and ‘Moulin Rouge’.

The documents state that Ewan will get to keep thirty vehicles, including cars and motorcycles which he collected throughout their marriage.

While Eve Mavrakis gets to keep a $6.62 million Los Angeles house, along with all of her jewelry, some bank accounts, and 5 vehicles. She’ll also get $501,704 in cash to even out the split of assets.

The divorce was finalised on Thursday with a judge appointing both Ewan and Eve joint legal and physical custody of their youngest daughter Anouk.

According to the documents the former couple agreed to continue to ‘have a flexible custodial schedule to accommodate’ their youngest daughter.

Ewan must also give Eve base child support of $14,934 per month as well as a trust fund set up for their daughter’s educational expenses, and base spousal support of $35,868 per month.

The stress caused by the divorce proceedings has finally come to an end, hopefully everyone is satisfied and can move on with their lives.
