A 99-year-old Keighley man, Captain Tom Moore, has raised over £5 million for the NHS. The veteran aimed to walk in his back garden to continue to raise money.
Captain Moore seek to walk ten laps around his garden a day. The veteran aims to reach about a 100 lengths before him 100th birthday on 30th of April.
The veteran is ahead of his schedule and he aims to finish up his challenge by Thursday.
He said: “Thanks to each and every one of you – we are in awe of you, but especially our front line staff who need this now more than ever.”

Mr. Tom Moore received praise because of his charitable act. Many famous figures such as England hooker Jamie George said he is “truly inspired” by the captain.
The U.S. ambassador to the UK Mr. Woody Johnson said that it is “amazing what people can do”.
Mr Moore said: “It seems almost like fairy land to think that we started off at 1,000 to a sum of money that’s not believable, is it?”
He added: “I never imagined anything like this, but I’m so pleased and I hope it just goes on because the services I got from all these doctors and nurses was absolutely outstanding. And they’re such nice people too.”
