Ed Sheeran Leads UK Stars On Forbes Celebrity 100 List

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran was listed 23rd on Forbes Celebrity 100 with £47.8million ($64milllion) income.

Ed Sheeran was listed at Number 23 on Forbes Celebrity 100, which was released earlier this year, this marks the singer leading the UK stars on the highest-paid celebrities list.

Forbes Magazine has been compiling and publishing this annual list since 1999 which serves to record the 100 highest-paid celebrities in the world.

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran was listed 23rd on Forbes Celebrity 100 with £47.8million ($64milllion) income.

While the next UK celebrity to make the list was British author J. K. Rowling who was listed at Number 28 with her £44.8million ($60million) earnings, this marks her as the “second-highest-paid author in the world, behind the prolific James Patterson”.

The English rock band The Rolling Stones was not listed too far behind them as they were Number 32 with their combined salary of £44.1million ($59million).

With British professional boxer Tyson Fury listed at Number 34 with his £44.8million ($57million) wage.

The British racing driver celebrity Lewis Hamilton was placed above Kim Kardashian, as he was listed at Number 40 with £40.3million ($54million) earnings.

Ed Sheeran’s Forbes profile details: “Sheeran’s Divide Tour grossed $775 million between March 2017 and August 2019.”

Forbes went on to include: “The massive tally gave him the highest-grossing concert tour of all time, besting the mammoth U2 360° Tour of 2009-2011.”

“Sheeran, who has the Heinz ketchup logo tattooed on his arm, struck a deal with the brand that includes commercials and a limited-edition bottle.” – Forbes added about the celebrity.

According to Forbes the stars at the top of the list were Kylie Jenner and Kanye West, “who brought in $590 million and $170 million, respectively.”

Kylie Jenner earned $590 million pre-tax from June 2019 through to May 2020. This means that she has been named the highest-paid celebrity on Forbes annual list, but she still does not have a billionaire status.
