Juventus confirmed its defender Rugani’s infection with coronavirus on its website Wednesday, saying he was “currently asymptomatic.”

“Juventus Football Club is currently activating all the isolation procedures required by law, including those who have had contact with him,” the statement said.

Juventus players trained earlier on Wednesday, but it wasn’t clear whether Rugani was present at the training or not.

Inter Milan also insisted it was suspending matches “until further notice,” while stating that “The Club is currently taking steps to put all the necessary procedures into place.”
