Celine Dion, the 56-year-old queen of power ballads, has always been a force to be reckoned with. But behind her incredible talent and success, she has been quietly battling a rare disease called Stiff Person Syndrome.

In a recent interview with Vogue France, Celine provided a rare insight into how she manages her condition and revealed whether she will be able to perform again soon.

Recalling the early stages of her health journey, Celine admitted to questioning herself and wondering if she was to blame for her condition. She shared, “At the beginning, I would ask myself: ‘Why me? How did this happen? What have I done? Is this my fault?’ But life doesn’t give you any answers. You just have to live it!”

As Celine continues to improve, she has set a goal for herself—to see the Eiffel Tower again. This symbolizes her determination and resilience in the face of adversity. However, Celine couldn’t provide a definite answer when asked about her return to touring.

“She said, “I can’t answer that because, for four years, I’ve been saying to myself that I’m not going back, that I’m ready, that I’m not ready. As things stand, I can’t stand here and say to you: ‘Yes, in four months.’ I don’t know. My body will tell me.”
