House Republicans are raising concerns about the White House’s omission of Hunter Biden, President Biden’s son, from the Marine One passenger list and visitor logs. This omission follows a pattern of excluding him from various records, including the visitor logs.
Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich reported that “the White House may not have helped that the president is keeping far away from Hunter’s local woes.”

During the First Family’s return from Delaware on Marine One, it was noticed that Hunter Biden disembarked from the helicopter despite not being on the passenger list provided by the White House.
Heinrich stated, “Hunter is apparently here at the White House after defying a Congressional subpoena, being indicted on financial crimes with a maximum sentence of 17 years, and facing additional gun charges that could result in another 25 years behind bars.”
The omission of Hunter Biden from the Marine One list prompted the House Republican Conference’s social media account to question what else the White House might be leaving out of its records regarding the president’s son.
The House GOP account tweeted, “Fox News reports that Hunter Biden is currently at the White House after being spotted exiting Marine One. He was not on the White House’s passenger manifest. What other manifests and visitor logs has Hunter Biden been left off of?”
During a press briefing, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked if the White House would announce Hunter Biden’s presence on Marine One in the future. Jean-Pierre responded, “That’s something that we’ve never done.
This is the family. The family gets to travel with the president, and that’s been the case with every other president, so it’s not something that we have done or we would be doing moving forward.”
The Biden White House has repeatedly claimed to be the “most transparent administration in American history.”
However, a review by Fox News found that the visitor logs from the beginning of the Biden administration through February 2023 did not include any of Hunter Biden’s visits or extended stays at the White House.

Despite the administration’s claims of transparency, it appears that Hunter’s name is still being omitted from the visitor logs. The review conducted by Fox News revealed that Hunter Biden had visited the White House over a dozen times through February 2023.
Many of these visits were in 2022 and included events such as the annual egg roll, Medal of Freedom ceremony, France State Dinner on the South Lawn, Christmas tree lighting, and his daughter’s wedding.
However, these visits were not recorded in the visitor logs, suggesting that extended stays were also not documented. When questioned about the omission, a White House spokesperson referred to a policy released at the start of the administration.
The policy states, “The White House will not release access records related to purely personal guests of the First and Second Families (i.e., visits that do not involve any official or political business).” This policy appears to be less transparent than the one implemented during the Obama administration.
