Dem Strategist, Carville Told To Shut Up About Biden's Bad Polling Numbers.

In a recent article by The Atlantic, prominent Democratic Party strategist James Carville revealed that he has been urged by “leading Democrats” to refrain from discussing President Biden’s difficult prospects for winning re-election in 2024.

Carville expressed his belief that Biden’s chances are facing a high mountain to climb as he seeks re-election.

Carville disclosed that Biden’s numbers are “not good,” and while Democrats do not disagree with him, they are attempting to silence him because the idea is unsettling. When Carville informs Democratic leaders about Biden’s troubles, they do not refute him but instead advise him to keep it to himself.

Carville, who has spoken to Rep. Dean Phillips about his aspirations to replace Biden as the Democratic nominee, further supported his claim by stating that he has consulted with various individuals involved in congressional-level and state polling, all of whom have expressed similar concerns.

According to Carville, there is a consensus that Biden’s numbers are not improving, and the question remains whether the country has already made up its mind.

The Atlantic also presented the perspective of former Obama 2012 campaign manager Jim Messina, who has been attempting to reassure Democrats concerned about Biden’s re-election prospects.

Messina argued that Biden has already defeated Trump once and is the most suitable candidate to do so again. However, Carville dismissed this reasoning, pointing out that the Biden White House operates with a “doctrine of strategic certainty” that may not be realistic in the current election cycle.

Carville highlighted the underreported story of low Black voter turnout since 2020, which he believes does not bode well for Biden’s chances of victory.

Democratic strategist James Carville also told CNN recently that Democrats need to air out Rep. Dean Phillips’ expected primary challenge against President Biden.

In contrast, Phillips expressed his grave concern, stating, “I just don’t think President Biden will beat Donald Trump next November.” He criticized fellow Democrats for ignoring this danger in public and expressed frustration at the silence from those whose job it is to be vocal.

Phillips’ decision to challenge Biden has drawn criticism from many Democrats and voices on the left who fear it will weaken the president ahead of a difficult general election. Cedric Richmond, co-chair of Biden’s campaign, dismissed Phillips’ campaign as a vanity project and accused him of not caring about the party.

The scandal-ridden anti-Trump PAC, The Lincoln Project, also criticized Phillips, referring to his campaign as an ego trip and a money grab.

While some argue that Biden has the ability to defeat Trump again, Carville’s concerns about the president’s re-election prospects cannot be ignored. It remains to be seen how Biden’s numbers will evolve and whether the Democratic Party will address these concerns head-on.
