It’s now Google’s turn to take the field and hit for the fences with an autumn hardware event. The company is throwing a Pixel presentation in New York City, and you’re invited – at least to watch the Made by Google event online.

The festivities begin on October 4 at 10 a.m. ET. The stream is available below. We’ll also have complete coverage of all Pixel news.

The event’s main topic is not a big mystery. Google has been teasing the Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and Pixel Watch 2 in images and videos for weeks, and there have been numerous leaks.

The latest Pixel phones, according to Google, include “the most advanced Pixel cameras yet and Google AI to help you do more, even faster.”

Other rumored improvements include a display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz (faster than the Pixel 7’s 90Hz screen) and a Tensor G3 chipset that powers everything. Meanwhile, the base Pixel 8 may see a price bump – speculations claim it will cost $699, $100 more than the Pixel 7.

The Pixel Watch 2 is expected to have IP68 water and dust resistance. Google is reported to be emphasizing increased battery life with the help of a processor that is more efficient than the one used in the original model.

A slightly larger battery is also possible. Meanwhile, there are rumors that Google will include a Pixel Watch 2 as a free gift with the purchase of a Pixel 8 Pro.

Google may have additional topics to discuss at the event. Given how things have been going this year, it would be surprising if the firm did not devote a considerable amount of time to discussing AI improvements.

In any event, we won’t have to wait long to find out what Google has in store for us.
