Between Drake and Meek Mill, there is no longer any animosity. Drake, and Meek, 36, arrived together at Drake’s concert for the Philadelphia stop of his ‘It’s All A Blur’ Tour on Monday night (July 31), eight years after their dispute started.
Drake didn’t invite Meek on the stage during the performance, but he did discuss their past conflict and eventual reconciliation. “Y’all see who I walked out here with, right?” I said. Drake addressed the Wells Fargo Center crowd. I’d always be completely honest with you.

That man over there has been representing this city ever since he started this nonsense the last time I was in this place. I and that dude didn’t get along at the time, and he’s a true n****, so he got us out of Philadelphia right away; we were not allowed to hang out.
Drake went on to say, “It means the most to me that I could return to this city and demonstrate the growth as two men by coming here tonight and representing for motherf****** Philadelphia together.
That is the purpose of this s***. Before starting his performance, the “One Dancer” rapper expressed his gratitude to Philadelphia for “embracing” him and thanked Meek for escorting him to the stage.
But the men ended their feud after Meek was released from prison in 2018. When Drake went on tour in Boston in September of that same year, he invited Meek to the stage. To signal to everyone that the rivalry was over, they shook hands in front of the audience.

Drake later penned on Instagram, “This gave me peace of mind tonight. “One of the energizing and satisfying moments of my work was generated through healing and going forward.
“Proud of you boy,” Drake commented on his Instagram Story to congratulate Meek on the major milestone in 2021 when the latter rapper released Expensive Pain, his second album to be released following his time in prison.
