According to a person who spoke with Page Six, Cloud was battling suicidal thoughts after returning from burying his father in Ireland. According to the anonymous source, he was living at his parents’ house in Oakland, California, to try to deal with his sorrow.
TMZ received the devastating news from the actor’s family on Monday, and the actor’s family urged fans to remember Cloud for “his humor, laughter, and love for everyone.”
They said in a statement, “It is with the hardest sorrow that we must bid farewell to a beautiful human today. “Angus was special to all of us in so many ways: as an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son”.
The statement said, “Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss.” “The only consolation we have is that Angus is back with his dad, who was his best friend,” said the family.
In their statement, they said that “Angus was open about his battle with mental health” and expressed their hope that his departure would serve as “a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”
Diomi Cordero, Cloud’s former manager, accused him of drug addiction in April. She also asserted that he had required naloxone administration and CPR following an alleged overdose.
In addition, Cordero said that “Euphoria” author Sam Levinson urged Cloud to “fight for his life.” He claimed to have met Cloud while working in a recovery facility. Our request for comment from Levinson did not immediately receive a response.
On the popular HBO show, Cloud portrayed the role of Fez, a drug dealer. He had no prior acting experience, but he instantly won over the audience, which led to jobs in “Scream 6” and “North Hollywood.”
