“Well, I’m going, to be honest with you. This would be my eighth one. I’ve got a uterus shaped like a heart. It just won’t keep anything in”. Tiffany Hadish responded when asked by a nurse if she was okay, after having miscarried last Wednesday. 

In an extensive interview with the Washington Post, Tiffany Haddish opened up and said she’s suffered eight miscarriages.

Tiffany discussed how she chose her words carefully when announcing the miscarriage. She kept this information from being posted online and only notified a few of her pals, keeping the others in the dark.

In her words “I don’t want people saying: ‘Are you okay? Are you all right?’” she told the Washington Post. “Like a wounded animal, I just rather go in a cave by myself. Lick my wounds”.

Haddish reveals that she took parenting lessons last year to be eligible to adopt a kid, but she is hesitant to have children or assume mom duties given how busy her partner’s profession is.

She will be seen in the Broadway play based on her biography, The Last Black Unicorn, Haunted Mansion, her Apple TV+ series The Afterparty, and more.

Her attempt to raise $25 million for the construction of a health food market inside an educational/commercial complex in the Crenshaw district of Los Angeles, as well as her musical debut.

In a later part of the story, Tiffany’s OB/GYN informed her that she “probably has endometriosis, a painful condition in which tissue resembling that which lines the uterus grows outside the organ.”

Since Tiffany has had discomfort and significant bleeding since she was a teenager, it is a “revelation” for her.

Despite all of her setbacks, Tiffany always manages to find humor. “My jokes are my babies,” Haddish says during a stand-up, documented in the Washington Post story.
