Last night, fans were hit by surprise when Jac Naylor returned five months after exiting the BBC medical drama.
At the beginning of the year, Holby City viewers were disappointed when Rosie Marcel who stars as Jac announced she wanted to pull out of the drama.
“I’m sad obviously – I love the show and I’ve been there a really long time,” she told Digital Spy. “But it got to a stage where I was just so tired and I really needed that break, to the point where I’ve not really done anything else and I don’t want to – I want to take time off.”
“Homeschooling is obviously very difficult for everyone at the moment and I’m very grateful that I can be here and do it.”
Although Holby City fans are excited about they are quizzing whether Jac Taylor`s return as the new Director of Improvement is permanent.
On Twitter, one wrote: “Bloody [email protected] you do beat all, just caught up on last night’s epi and I am screaming – Jac is back – thank you thank you thank you 100x thank you this is just the best news welcome back #RosieMarcel Growing heart#HolbyCity Television.”
