Pete Davidson began his joke on the show by saying, “If there’s one good thing about the pandemic, besides getting Chrissy Teigen out of our lives, it’s …”
Then, when the audience reacted with some cheers, and some boos as well with some trace of upset Pete shrugged and said, “I’m relieved,” before continuing his joke about wearing masks.
Pete’s remark comes after Chrissy’s recent fall from grace and after reality star, Courtney Stodden openly spoke about the star’s awful messages from the past.
“Teigen, wouldn’t just publicly tweet about wanting me to take ‘a dirt nap’ but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself,” Courtney told The Daily Beast in a recent interview.
Chrissy Teigen who’s married to John Legend openly apologized after Courtney’s revelation even calling herself an “insecure, attention-seeking troll” Courtney has since claimed that the social media star never reached out to her personally about the cyberbullying.
After Courtney’s interview, Macy’s pulled Teigen’s cookware line and Bloomingdale’s walked away before finalizing a deal with the star.
