Royal scribe Robert Jobson has described Prince Harry’s criticism of his father’s parenting skills a few weeks after his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral as ‘very self-indulged’ and ‘selfish.’
Prince Harry on Thursday made another controversial statement … when he said his father passed on a “cycle” of “genetic pain and suffering” to him, which actually prompted the decision to move to the U.S with his family to put an end to it.

“He treated me the way he was treated,” Harry, 36, said on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast, obviously hitting it harder on his grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and the late Prince Philip who raised his father Prince Charles.
Royal expert Robert whose newest book, “Prince Philip’s Century,” chronicles the life of the Duke of Edinburgh was surprised that the Duke of Sussex continued to take launch attacks on the British royal household not long after the death of Prince Philip.
he told Page Six on Friday, adding, “To start saying things within weeks of his grandfather’s funeral seems ungracious. I’m sure if he used his brain now and then … [he’d realize] it’s not helpful talking about his personal problems.
“He’s talking about his father, who’s just lost his own dad, going through his own traumas and mental health issues. Surely he should support Charles now more than ever and I don’t know why he’s done it.”
He continued, “He is very self-indulged. He doesn’t seem to care about anybody’s feelings but himself. His father has just lost his own father, his grandmother has just lost her husband, her confidant of over 70 years, so for me, it’s quite selfish.”
Robert said he feels sympathy for Prince Harry and understands that mental health is a serious issue, but still thinks that Harry should be talking family grievances over with a therapist instead of airing them in public.
“Just because he’s selling a series on mental health with Oprah [Winfrey] doesn’t mean you have to trash your family. I don’t really see what is gained,” he said.
Following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, Robert said the royal should have better prepared his wife for royal life.
