Vanessa Bryant has on Friday announced that she will launch a Mambacita clothing line on May 1, in honor of her daughter Gianna Bryant… who would have been 15th this year.
The 38-year-old Bryant and her daughters Natalia, 18, Bianka, 4, and Capri, 21 months, modeled the collection’s tie-dye sweatsuits on Instagram with Gianna’s nickname (a play on Kobe’s moniker), the pieces have her jersey number inside of a heart, along with a small winged star.

According to Vanessa’s announcement, the brand will be available in unisex and children’s sizes, and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, the nonprofit founded in Kobe and Gianna’s memory to help fund sports programs in underserved communities.

Kobe and Gianna Bryant died alongside 7 others in a tragic California helicopter crash in January 2020. Kobe was 41 and his daughter was 13 at the time.
A-list celebrities gathered at the comment section to show their support for the Mambacita line, including Snoop Dogg, Mario Lopez, Gigi Hadid, La La Anthony, Naomi Osaka, Khloé Kardashian, and more.
This comes amid the announcement that Vannessa cut ties with Nike amid frustration over the limited quantities of Kobe sneakers available to purchase, especially in children’s sizes.
