Britney Spears and her boyfriend Sam Asghari rolled out their wedding season over the weekend, attending the ceremonies of his friend as they share a series of pictures from their outing with the personal trainer dressed in a black suit, while Britney rocked a blue, one-shoulder minidress, a tan coat, dark heels and sunglasses.
“About last night,” he captioned the photos, adding the hashtags #vaccinated and #thankyouscience.
Asghari, who has been linked to Spears since 2016, also posted a clip of the couple dancing to his Instagram Story, writing: “Thanks to science, we get to dance again. When Persian and American culture combines.”
Earlier this month, Spears — who is at the centre of an ongoing debate over her conservatorship — revealed she had received the COVID-19 vaccine, detailing her experience on social media.
“OK, the people on the internet said it was really, really bad, it was like a bullet going through your arm. It was nothing. I felt nothing. I’m fine, and I hope I continue to stay fine,” she said in a video at the time.
More recently, Spears — who has had little control over her personal life and money since her 2008 breakdown — addressed concerns from fans about her well-being. While taking part in an Instagram Q&A, the pop star said she’s “totally fine” and “extremely happy.”
“I have a beautiful home, beautiful children,” she said of her two sons, Sean Preston, 15, and Jayden James, 14, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Spears was profiled in February’s “Framing Britney Spears” documentary from the New York Times, which chronicled her career and conservatorship battle with her father, Jamie Spears. A month later, the singer broke her silence on the feature, stating she was “embarrassed by the light they put me in.”
Last month, Spears’ attorney filed a petition to have a licensed fiduciary, Jodi Montgomery, permanently replace Jamie, 68, as her conservator. A court hearing is set to take place Tuesday.
