Marie Kondo Welcomes A Baby Boy With Husband Takumi Kawahara

Marie Kondo on Thursday announced the arrival of her third child… a baby boy with her husband Takumi Kawahara as she takes it to Instagram to share a photo of the newborn with her followers.

Marie wrote, “It’s a boy! I am over the moon to welcome this bundle of joy into our family.  We are all doing well. Now comes the fun part.. spending this special time with our little guy,”

Marie Kondo and hubby Takumi Kawahara who got married in 2012 already have beautiful daughters, Satsuki and Miko before this fresh addition to their family… making them family of five.

The 36-year-old “Tidying Up” author had confirmed in January that she and hubby were expecting a baby, she also sparked speculation among her fans about the sex of the baby.

Speaking to People in last Spring about striking a balance between parenthood and the new work-from-home lifestyle caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Marie said, “designate a time for a coffee or tea break. Step away use this time to fully disconnect and recharge. It’s so important to create a schedule for kids.

“Whether it’s making breakfast together, reading or doing puzzles.”

She also spoke on how she tries to talk to her kids and understand the root of their issues whenever there seems to be one.

“I think it’s quite natural for kids to have tantrums when they do, they do! I take the time to listen. Once they’ve calmed down, I ask them what’s bothering them and then, to let them know I understand, I say, ‘So that made you sad,’ or ‘That’s what you didn’t like,’” she added.
