Rapper DMX has been hospitalized and is currently following a drug overdose incident on Friday night.
Sources close to the rapper told TMZ, the OD occurred at his home at around 11 PM. The sources also went on to say the overdose triggered a heart attack. Reports went on to state that the “X Gon’ Give It to Ya” hitmaker was taken to a hospital in White Plains, New York, where he remains in the critical care unit.

Sources further went to say that the rapper has “some brain activity” while another said he is in a “vegetative state.” Authorities in White Plains and a representative for DMX did not immediately respond to SurgeZirc’s requests for comment.
After news of his hospitalization was made public, several stars and musicians expressed thoughts and prayers on social media.
