Kobe Bryant’s former Irvine, California, home is back on the market for $2.6 million — less than six months after it first sold. And the home has definitely received a makeover.
The three-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom abode was first purchased by the late Lakers legend and his wife, Vanessa Bryant, in 2013 for $1.3 million.

Nine months following the five-time NBA champion’s untimely death, Vanessa listed the home for $1.995 million on Oct. 27, 2020. Only two days later, someone scooped up the home for $2 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.
But the new owner evidently had considerable plans in mind for the property. The listing describes the property as having been a “completely remodeled single-story gem.”
Tucked away in the exclusive guard-gated community, the Summit at Turtle Ridge, the home in the manicured enclave of Orange County has undergone nearly $200,000 worth of renovations.
Going from mostly traditional wood cabinets and paneling to a modern white contemporary vibe, the estate boasts a gourmet kitchen with an oversized marble island, custom backsplash, professional-grade appliances, and a cozy breakfast nook.
Amenities of the Tuscan-style home include a meticulously landscaped backyard, complemented by a lush garden, Jacuzzi, built-in barbecue, and bar with plenty of space for dining.
Described as being akin to “a posh hotel,” the home’s master suite includes views of the lush garden and features an elegant custom dual-vanity bathroom, expanded shower, soaking tub, and a spacious walk-in closet.
While Vanessa, 38, unloaded this investment home she initially bought with Kobe, she still remains in the five-bedroom, six-bathroom Newport Coast estate located only a few miles away along with her three children Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.
