It’s now apparent that everyone has been pronouncing Khloé Kardashian’s name wrongly. Andy Cohen, who interviewed the Kardashians for his new E! show “For Real: The Story of Reality TV,” said the star’s name should be pronounced KLO-ay because of the accent above the e — not KLO-ee.

“It’s KLO-ay. KLO-ay is the name, there’s a little accent over the name,” the Bravo honcho said on “The Tonight Show” Monday. His pronunciation of Khloé’s name right off the bat even caught members of the famous family off guard.
“I walked in and I go, ‘Khloé,’ and the other women go, ‘Excuse me,’ and Kris [Jenner] said, ‘Yeah, that’s actually really how it’s really pronounced,’” Andy Cohen said.
He joked about being the only one to receive “the memo” when it came to articulating the 36-year-old’s name.
“There’s a little thing on top of the name, why am I the only one that got that?” Cohen said. Even on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” the family has always pronounced the moniker KLO-ee over the years.
During Monday’s “Tonight Show” appearance, Cohen also spoke about the process of interviewing the Kardashians during the pandemic, saying he had to get a COVID test before arriving at the shoot and then pass through a multitude of gates.

“I said, ‘Oh, you want to give me the results of the COVID test?’ They go, ‘Go to Khloé’s and if the second gate opens, you’re negative. And the gate opened and I was like, ‘All right, I don’t have COVID,’” Cohen said.
