“I have tried not to like him,” Steve said on a clip of the show that was uploaded to YouTube on Monday. “I have tried to find something wrong with him that I can dig in . . . ’cause I done got rid of all of them.”

While Steve is busy looking for a reason not to like the actor, his 24-year-old daughter Lori and Jordan, 34, quickly confirmed their relationship on Instagram in January, and since then, the pair have constantly dropped flirty comments on each other’s accounts and have also vacationed together in St. Barts.

At first, Lori Harvey was linked to Future and later to Diddy. Steve told DeGeneres that some “lasted a lot longer than I wanted it to,” but without mentioning names. But he couldn’t help but rained praises on Michael.

He said Jordan is “such a good guy. He is one of the nicest guys,” while adding that he has even met Jordan’s father, Michael A. Jordan, and then adding that “I’m hoping this lasts because this is a really, really good guy.”
