A top journalist Dominic Green in the United States has fired shots at Democrats for deliberately presenting an “unfit candidate” as president and “betraying their responsibilities” to the American people.
Green who’s the deputy editor of The Spectator’s US edition, refers to the behavior of the 46th US president Joe Biden in the few public appearances he has made since taking over the White House.
He pointed that Mr. Biden, 78, “looks and sounds frail”, suggesting that the U.S. leader may not be well enough to efficiently manage the demanding role of being the president of the United States of America.
Mr. Green noted that Biden has become “so embarrassing to watch” that it felt “cruel to mention it”. Biden who is the oldest in history recently sparked concern during a visit to Houston at the beginning of March.
While the president was delivering a speech, he appeared to lose focus and become disorientated. And then, at a point, the US President said, “What am I doing here?”
In an op-ed for the Daily Telegraph, Mr. Green wrote, “Compare how he moves and sounds now to how he was a year ago, let alone five years ago. Biden looks and sounds frail.
“He seems visibly distressed at his inability to carry out the simplest requirements of office, and at a time when the requirements are simpler than usual.”
Green also referred to a recent shocking event where Mr. Biden could not remember the name of his government’s largest department, the Department of Defence, nor the name of the man he appointed as its head – Lloyd Austin.
He, therefore, noted that “This presidency is turning into a theatre of cruelty. It can only end one way. Sooner or later, Biden will be caught in the spotlight.
“The Democrats who promoted an unfit candidate to America’s highest office, and the media who covered for him, will be exposed as having betrayed their responsibilities to the American people.
“The people’s trust in democratic institutions will decline further. And we will all be a party to Biden’s public humiliation.”
President Biden’s doctor had released a report of 3 pages that qualified the then Democrats presidential candidate as fit for the race.

The report declared him a “healthy, vigorous, 77-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State and Commander in Chief,” while adding that he has no known medication allergies and does not use any tobacco products, does not drink alcohol at all, and he works out at least five days per week.”
