A Florida man Alex Bonilla has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for pulling a gun on his wife’s lover and cutting off the lover’s penis with scissors.
Mr. Bonilla who’s currently 51-year-old was slammed two decades in prison for the attack he carried out on his wife’s lover in July 2019, news station WKMG has reported.
According to the report, Bonilla barged into his neighbor’s home and proceeded to threaten the man with a handgun and metal pipe, after which he forced the man into the bedroom and tied him up before “forcefully cutting off the victim’s penis with a pair of scissors,” officials said.

The Florida man then told his wife’s lover, “This is normal, you will not die today,” the Smoking Gun reported.
Bonilla, at the time, took the severed appendage and ran across the street to his own home, WKMG reported. The attack took place two months after Bonilla discovered the man was having sex with his wife, authorities confirmed.
Bonilla pleaded no contest last month to charges of kidnapping, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was finally given 20 years in prison and ordered to pay more than $251,000, according to WKMG’s report.
