Leah Remini Calls Tom Cruise’s Coronavirus Rant On Set A Publicity Stunt

The “Top Gun” star erupted when he saw two crew members within six feet of each other, and then threatened that he’d fire them if they didn’t follow strict COVID-19 during production.

Leah Remini isn’t agreeing to Tom Cruise’s explosive, on-set coronavirus rant, instead, she said the actor is doing it for publicity purposes.

The “Scientology and the Aftermath” host told The Underground Bunker, an anti-Scientology website, on Wednesday that Cruise’s angry outburst toward film staff was just for show and that his “abusive” nature is nothing those close to him hasn’t seen before.

“I would bet that Tom had this rant written for him and had his Scientology assistant record and release it for public relations only,” she said.

“Tom’s reaction that was released yesterday shows his true personality. He is an abusive person. I witnessed it, I’ve been a recipient of it on a small level, and I’ve been told of similar abuse by his former girlfriend, his employees, and his friends. This is the real Tom,” Leah Remini, 50, said.`

The Sun published audio recordings last week of Cruise berating staff on the set of “Mission: Impossible 7” in England.

The “Top Gun” star erupted when he saw two crew members within six feet of each other, and then threatened that he’d fire them if they didn’t follow strict COVID-19 during production.

“If I see you do it again, you’re f—ing gone,” he can be heard yelling on audiotape. “And if anyone in this crew does it, that’s it, and you too and you too. And you, don’t you ever f—ing do it again.”
