Rita Ora is among celebrities who’re going against the government coronavirus rules, but she has apologized for throwing herself a 30th birthday party in London over the weekend.
Police arrived at her secret bash, which took place at West London restaurant Casa Cruz Saturday night because Ora and her guest of 30 people broke the lockdown restriction rules in place to contain the virus.

Rita began her Instagram Story apology, “It was a spur of the moment decision made with the misguided view that we were coming out of lockdown and this would be OK. I’m deeply sorry for breaking the rules and in turn, understand that this puts people at risk. This was a serious and inexcusable error of judgment.
“Given the restrictions, I realize how irresponsible these actions were and I take full responsibility.”
Rita Ora said she felt “particularly embarrassed” for the soirée as she knows “first-hand how hard people have worked to combat this terrible illness and being fully aware of the sacrifices that people and businesses have made to help keep us all safe.”
“Even though this won’t make it right, I want to sincerely apologize.”
Attendees of Ora’s “spur of the moment” party included models Cara and Poppy Delevingne. Following the party, a spokesperson for Prime Minister Boris Johnson slammed celebrities’ choice to break the lockdown rules.
