Katy Perry took to social media to share pictures of the thoughtful hand-embroidered baby blanket that Taylor Swift had sent for her baby daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom.
Orlando Bloom and Katy had introduced their new arrival into the world on Wednesday, August 26th through UNICEF, for whom they serve as Goodwill Ambassadors.
Since the birth of Daisy Bloom, the couple has received many congratulatory messages from fans and other celebrities, with Beyoncé recently sending them a bouquet of flowers to mark the arrival of the newborn.
Katy posted pictures of a peach satin blanket sent by Taylor, which had ‘Baby Bloom’ hand-embroidered on the front of it, along with it was a handwritten note from the Folklore singer, which she had addressed to ‘Katy, Orlando and little one.’
Katy captioned the post with: “Miss [Daisy] adores her hand embroidered blankie from miss @taylorswift.”
“Hope it’s one she drags around for years till it becomes an unrecognizable shred that she keeps in her pocket as a teenager.” – The Daisies singer added.
She also tagged the location on her post as ‘Steam Folklore’, which was done to encourage her followers to buy Taylor’s latest record that was done during the lockdown.
Earlier this year, during an interview with Howard Stern on his SiriusXM show, Katy Perry had discussed why she and Taylor Swift finally fixed their long-running feud.
Both singers were previously quarreling for several years before they decided to smooth things out in 2018 and become friends.
Katy said it was important for them to move past their issues so they could both be better role models for young girls, which they are now proving to be.
