Ricky Gervais is not ashamed of how he looks, instead, he shares in the fun of how he has aged on Twitter by retweeting a funny bath photo alongside a throwback photo from his 80s pop career.

Recently a fan of Ricky Gervais posted two photos side by side of him and captioned it: “How the hell does this happen?”. –

Ricky then retweeted the post onto is own account which shows a fun and entertaining bath photo alongside a much younger photo of himself, sharing in the joke that he has aged quite a bit and looks very different.

The bath photo was posted recently by Ricky on Twitter showing off his beard and hairy chest as he pulled a silly face submerged halfway in the water. –

While the 80s throwback photo showed a younger version of Ricky wearing make-up as he posed for a photoshoot in an attempt to launch his pop career.

Many fans commented on the post, some saying that Ricky looked great and others just had a good laugh at how he had aged, it made a few feel better about their own ageing process.

Ricky began his attempt at a singing career in 1983 with university friend Bill Macrae, they formed the new wave pop duo called ‘Seona Dancing’.

‘Seona Dancing’ was signed by London Records and they released two of their singles titled ‘More to Lose’ and ‘Bitter Heart’. Though the songs sadly failed to make the UK Singles Chart.

That did not stop Ricky from having a successful career as he achieved greater mainstream fame with his BBC television mock documentary series, ‘The Office’ in 2001.

Most recently Ricky has revealed the third series of ‘After Life‘ will be the last of the hit Netflix sitcom that he has penned down.

Ricky told The Mirror: “I’ve already made my mind up there won’t be a fourth series.”
