Rihanna moves her focus from her music career to a new skincare range so that she can become a ‘beauty billionaire’. She already co-owns the makeup brand Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty lingerie line.
Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, is well known for her distinctive voice and for her fashionable appearance. Now she’s opening doors into the fashion and beauty world and hitting pause on her music.
Rihanna has not released an album since 2016 and it seems that hopes for a new one being released soon are very slim, as reports say that due to the coronavirus pandemic disrupting the music industry there is more money to be found in fashion and cosmetics.
Reports say that as Rihanna moves her focus to skincare she has trademarked a new line called ‘Buff Ryder’, with insiders saying: ‘Rihanna’s ninth album is on hold indefinitely. She wants to make her millions with beauty and is planning a new skincare line to go alongside her Fenty Cosmetics range.”
‘Her lingerie range has gone down so well too that she feels she needs to strike while the iron’s hot. Whenever she drops pics of her modelling the gear, sales go up,’ the insider added.
This makes sense as Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian have had huge success in their beauty ranges, we can just imagine how well Rihanna will do with her already well-known celebrity status.
A few days ago Rihanna posted a tribute to her late grandmother Clara Brathwaite, eight years after her passing.
Rihanna wrote “8 years. we miss you more each year,” in an Instagram post on Tuesday. –
When Clara passed in 2012 after a battle with cancer, Rihanna founded the Clara Lionel Foundation in honor of her grandmother and grandfather, Lionel.
It’s safe to say we’ll be seeing a lot more of Rihanna now, and even though there have been a few hints dropped in the past about her new album fans will just have to wait a bit longer for its release.
