Nicki Minaj collaborated with Tekashi 6ix9ine on a new track called ‘Trollz’. A portion of the proceeds from the project, including the merch items that are sold, are going towards The Bail Project Inc.
Nicki Minaj explains in her post that this is a worthy cause going to those who cannot afford bail to be supported, as many people are ‘working on the front lines of social justice, using their voices to demand AN END to the targeting and killing of Black Americans by the police. #BlackLivesMatter’ –

A portion of the proceeds from #Trollz including merch items, will be going directly to The Bail Project Inc. [@bailproject]. The fund provides free bail assistance to low-income individuals who can’t afford to pay bail while awaiting their trial. We want to protect and support the thousands of brave people working on the front lines of social justice, using their voices to demand AN END to the targeting and killing of Black Americans by the police. #BlackLivesMatter link in bio to Pre-save #TrollzVIDEO tmrw @ midnight 🎀🦄🌈🌈🌈🌈🦄🎀 NickiMinajQueen.com
No one thought anyone would be willing to work with Tekashi 6ix9ine, especially since the rapper was arrested in November 2018 on ‘racketeering charges and proceeded to snitch on his former gang members’, he was released early and put on house arrest due to concerns of being in prison under the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tekashi took this opportunity to get straight back into working and back on social media, and of course back onto his ‘trolling’ habits. Tekashi has not been shy about how he feels as he lets everyone know that he finds it funny that they thought no one would work with him anymore –
Nicki Minaj has not been the only artist that has been willing to collaborate with Tekashi 6ix9ine, as Akon has been seen working with the rapper on a remix of a track called ‘Locked Up’.
This is also not the first time that Nicki Minaj and Tekashi 6ix9ine have worked together, as they have previously collaborated on Tekashi’s hit “FEFE’ in July 2018, which Nicki featured on.
The artwork for ‘Trollz’ is reported to have the same look to the artwork from the last collaboration, it’s very colourful and the only real difference is that the rappers switch sides as well as replacing the ice cream with a lollipop.
The track is set to release this Thursday at midnight, with Tekashi 6ix9ine going live an hour before the video –
Though not everyone is happy that Tekashi 6ix9ine is getting so much attention and work, there are still fans out there on social media who are supporting the collaborations.
If anyone has a problem with me supporting #Trollz, can kindly block me. I fully support any and everything Nicki does. She does what she wants, when she wants unapologetically and you have to respect that! Y’all wasting y’all time being mad over something that’s out your control
