You ‘Ain’t Black’ If You Vote For Trump Says Biden

“If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump then you ain’t black,”

Democratic presidential hopeful Joseph R Biden Jr caused a stir on The Breakfast Club after telling African-American voters that they ‘ain’t black’ if they were considering voting for Trump.

During his interview on the popular show, Biden went on to tell the audience which is primarily African-American that:

“If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump then you ain’t black,”

The comments made by the former vice president received a lot of backlash from the public for trying to use the race card to win votes.

Senator Tom Scott who is currently the only black Republican representative in the Senate bemoaned Biden’s comments, accusing him of  “negative race-baiting”.

In his interview on The Breakfast Club with host Charlamagne Tha God, Biden went on encourage black voters to take a proactive role in the upcoming presidential elections.

Mr Biden’s senior advisor Symone Sanders later release a tweet explaining how the presidential candidate’s remarks may have been taken out of context as he posted the following statement in his tweet:

The comments made at the end of the Breakfast Club interview were in jest, but let’s be clear about what the VP was saying: he was making the distinction that he would put his record with the African American community up against Trump’s any day. Period.

President Donald Trump already has a history of spewing racist remarks. White House spokesperson Katrina Pierson went on to defend the President’s previous racial statements stating that they were taken ‘out of context’, as she went on to add:

“I know the president and I know his heart and I know his intent,”
