Piers Morgan escalated the misunderstanding between him and Good Place actress Jameela Jamil, by bidding her farewell in a scathing new tweet, just a few hours after she blocked him online.
You could wonder why Piers Morgan would be the major sceptic of the actress’s allergy admission when he took to his official Twitter account to congratulate the actress on the “miraculous recovery.”
It escalated when Mr Morgan re-tweeting a link from the Daily Mail, saying: “IT’S A MIRACLE! So happy for you @jameelajamil- hope your other 1,345 virtue-signalling victimhood-craving ailments make similarly miraculous recoveries.”
Ms Jamil didn’t waste time to return the gesture: “There is no cure for you being a pointless, boring, misogynist pr*ck sadly.”
Piers Morgan returned and wished the actress well following her battle with “Muchausen Syndrome.”
He scoffed: “Hi Jameela, lovely to hear from you as always, especially as you battle your latest terrible affliction, Munchausen syndrome. I hear it can make ‘victims’ angry & abusive, so I forgive you & wish you well with your treatment.“
The controversial GMB host, who has had his share of Twitter controversy and disagreements as well, found himself blocked by Jameela Jamil in a shocking move by the feminist campaigner.
Ms Jamil also switched her account to private, after old tweets resurfaced where she had criticised the late Caroline Flack’s planned plastic surgery show.
Piers Morgan trailed Ms Jamil on the internet to find where she paid tribute to the former Love Island host and criticised social media trolls, and dropped her a bombshell.
Mr Morgan said, “ You are one of the worst social media dog-pilers, as you showed when you attacked Caroline’s new show just 3 months ago – without even seeing it.”
The missile hit Ms Jamil so hard and she decided to block the then-use-to-be News of The World editor from her timeline which even hurt Mr Morgan the more. And he said, “Distraught to learn I’ve been blocked by Jameela Jamil because of my ‘hateful’ rhetoric.
“Previously, Jameela has tweeted I’m ‘a piece of diseased crusted anal fluff’, an ‘irrelevant shtstain’, a ‘giant pile of wnk’, and a ‘pointless, boring misogynist pr*ck’. I’ll miss her.”
It was shocking that Mr Morgan quickly earned the support of other celebrities including Laurence Fox who replied with his own experience of being on the receiving end of Ms Jamil’s fiery tweets.
Mr Fox said, “I’ve only recently got over her calling me a “freshly w*nked cock.”
Other Twitter users actively weighed in on the argument with their opinions, after Mr Morgan’s tweet attracted 36K likes with different comments.
A twitter user said, “Piers – she blocks anyone with a smart argument. She is only focused on defending her echo chamber that becomes smaller & louder by the day.”
Another noted, “Seems like she’s the one who can dish it out and can’t take it back.”
“Just get along, is that too much to ask?” said another Twitter user who was following the chain of reactions on the tweet.
Meanwhile, the TV host posted a photograph of peanut butter filled pretzel nuggets on her Instagram story, which immediately sparked controversy and drew reactions, as she had previously revealed that she suffered from a peanut allergy and had spoken about it in an interview in 2016.
Ms Jamil action was reprimanded by an online troll, who accused her of faking an accident in her past and inventing health scares just to attract attention from the press.
